OpenMTV Partners with FAST Channels TV to Expand Free Streaming TV

Niagara Falls-based platform brings together partner channels, OpenMTV programming and a new Channel Clash music event.

NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario, October 19, 2026 – OpenMTV, an independent Canadian streaming television platform, is expanding its free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) offering through its partnership with FAST Channels TV. Viewers can watch OpenMTV online at https://openmtv.ca and on Roku.

Built around the tagline “ONE NETWORK, MANY STORIES,” OpenMTV combines partner channels and OpenMTV programming across movies, music, classic television, documentaries, cartoons, gospel and more. The platform offers audiences a way to discover entertainment without a traditional paid television subscription.

OpenMTV Presents: Channel Clash

OpenMTV will host Channel Clash on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, inviting viewers to support one of two music channels:

  • Channel 126 – 4ACETV Classic Hits

  • Channel 191 – OpenMTV Music

Viewers take part by choosing a channel and staying through the bell. Every five minutes, OpenMTV privately scores eligible external viewing activity and publishes the completed round outcome and overall round score. Live viewer totals remain private.
